Hello pinkie friends~ Now that we have blogger working again, I had to scramble to get my Pink Saturday post up. I'm not very happy about losing comments and I lost most of a post I was working on for next week's tea party. How did you gals all fare from the ordeal? Anyway, I'm just happy it's working again!
Today's pinks will mainly be from my Anniversary/Mother's Day bouquet.
Two perfect white roses...
I love the spicy scent from carnations, don't you?
All snuggled together with a pink bow in my pink vase.
My sweet hubby had gifted me with this vintage rosebud tea cup for Easter. Love the pink rosebuds!
The lovely pearls came in the mail this week from my Auntie P. She got them in Scotland and thought I would like to have them. She was right!
I do have a little someone all dressed in pink too. This is Jenna-Lynn who is is five months old now.
Big brother Zachary, who is two, is giving his baby sister a kiss. See the pink polka dots on her outfit? These are just two of my little grandbabies.
Thank you for stopping by to see my pinks. I hope you all have a lovely pink weekend. Please see Beverly's parade of pinks by clicking here: http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/

Beautiful pinks, Sandi. My last post on Blogger is gone too but Blogger says they are working to restore all those missing posts. I hope they do it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday.

Happy Pink Saturday, Sandy,
ReplyDeleteI can't believe your little Jenna is five months old already...what a cutie she is and her little brother is so handsome.
Your flowers are very pretty! I don't think Carnations get enough credit for their rufflie sweetness! I bet you can dry your white roses if you just leave them alone in the vase....that is how I did mine and they are gorgeous today!
Lucky you getting those elegant pearls.
Hugs,
Jil
I'm relieved that Blogger is up and running again. Loved your pinks - especially the Jenna baby Pink.
ReplyDelete- Joy

ReplyDeleteHappy PS! Your comments should show back up soon. They are still working on things. Pretty weird not blogging for 24 hours.
ReplyDeleteLove your pinks this week!

Sandy, it was worth the wait. Such a lovely post. Such a beautiful bouquet. Rosebud teacup is so sweet, and your aunt was so sweet to think of you with the pearls. What a darling little baby, all dressed in the pink with her big brother Zachary.
ReplyDeleteMy first time to have blogger troubles. Started yesterday, off and on then I lost most of my post and yes, my comments! As you say, I'm happy it's working again.
Hope your weekend is great.

ReplyDeleteOh I can't decide which is sweeter, the scent from the roses and carnations, or that BIG kiss that BIG brother is planting on his sweet little sister's cheek. I love it.
Love the polka dots as well. How precious is that.

ReplyDeleteHi Sandi! I know what you mean about blogger. I had posted on Thursday right before everything shut down and watched as my post kept disapearing and coming back for the past 2 days. I did lost the comments from yesterday, but I've heard some people say they lost posts or their entire blog, so I can't complain.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are lovely and you have such cute grandkids. Looks like they are very happy too!

Carnations are one of my favorite flowers. They used to be referred to as " the poor mans rose" but to me they will always be splendid. Your children are beautiful. I enjoyed my visit to your lovely blog. Hugs!
