You're Invited To A Tea Party and A Recipe

Hello dear friends. I am hosting a Valentines Day Tea Party on Monday the 13th and I would like to extend an invitation to you all to join me.

Do you have some tea things in pink, red, or heart shape that you would like to share? I would love to see it. If you are baking  something special, I would love to see that too. Perhaps you might even like to share the recipe.

You are welcome to take this button for your post or sidebar.

Hope to see you there!

NOTE:
Last week, several of you had asked for my Rice Pudding recipe so here it is.

I make my Pudding from memory so this is the best I can do in the way of the recipe. The sauce however does come from a recipe which I will also share.

RICE PUDDING
2 cups Uncle Ben's Instant rice {cooks in 5 minutes}
pinch of salt
1 Tbsp. butter
1/3 cup sugar
2 cups milk
1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries {I use both}

Mix all together and cook on high in a microwavable dish for 5 minutes. Check and stir after three minutes. Continue cooking.
Remove from microwave and stir in:
Cinnamon and nutmeg to taste.
1 tsp. vanilla

To keep this pudding creamy, you can add a splash of milk, but it's best to use it all right away.

BROWN SUGAR SAUCE
Combine in saucepan:
1 cup Brown sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2  tsp. salt
Gradually stir in 2 cups boiling water. Bring to a boil and cook until smoothly thickened. Remove from heat and stir in:
2 Tbsp. butter
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
Yield- 2 cups

Actually any rice pudding will do. It is the sauce which makes it extra special. Enjoy!

Sharing from my heart~ Sandi
