Good morning friends ~ Don't you just love this time of year when everything is fresh and vibrant? One of the many things I enjoy is the scent of lilacs wafting through the air. Here on the Island, they are just starting to bloom.
Below, a creamer snuggles up to the lilacs with a strand of pearls in it. The pearls were a gift from my Auntie P which came all the way from Scotland while she was over there visiting. Auntie thought I would like them and she was so right! The whole vignette is sitting on one of my favourite vintage lace doilies.
Lilacs, pearls and lace, is there anything more feminine?

Lilacs and lace and pearls. Love your photos. The last one was absolutely beautiful. My lilacs came and went very quickly this year.

Lilacs remind me of home...my mom lives where my dad's family lived and there are ancient bushes there as tall as the garage. Sweet memories. ♥♫
