Pink Saturday ~ Welcome

Hi everyone~ It's Pink Saturday time and I have the nicest pinks to share with you today! But before I share my pinks I want to wish all my American friends a happy and safe Independence Day weekend. We here in Canada celebrated Canada Day on July 1st.

I would like to introduce a new blog I found last Pink Saturday~ Amy @ Vintage Porcelain Art http://vintageporcelainart.blogspot.com/
I am still swooning over her beautiful pieces of hand-painted china! This is just one of the exquisite pieces she has created.... I'm lovin it! Isn't it gorgeous?I invite you to go pay her a visit. You won't be disappointed!

A few weeks ago I won a Giveaway and it's not just any giveaway; it's a pink Giveaway!
My parcel arrived last week just in time to share with all you pinkies out there.

Roselle at Seaside Rose Creations ~ http://roselle-seasiderosecreations.blogspot.com/
sent me a wonderful box of goodies.

A couple of pretty seashell-shaped soaps along with hand cream all tied up with pretty green & white satin ribbon and a Frenchy crown tag.

A Frenchy-script book mark with a pink ribbon and a pink rose all glittered up. A glitterey hand-painted sign with LOVE on it. The sign is embellished with a pink rose, ribbon hanger, and one of Roselle's sweet little hand-painted pink rose buds.

A candy dish adorned with a pretty pink rose.

And the piece de resistance- a pink hurricane lamp with Roselle's hand-painted roses on it. It came with a pink tulle bow tied on the handle. It's a really good size too!
This is what it looks like at night with the candle lit. Pretty, isn't it? Thank you Roselle, I love it all!

Last weekend we took our grandson out for the afternoon and one of the places we visited had beautiful gardens. These are some of the flowers that were there. Although there were many varieties and colours, I will share only the pink ones.

There was a pretty lily pond with pink lilies floating in it.

This was the view from high up, looking down through the big windows into part of the gardens.

My grandson had a great time playing with his Luke Skywalker leggo. Old Luke took many dips in the water fountains and wood sculptures such as this one. It was a beautiful day on Prince Edward Island!

Well, pinkie friends, those are my pinks for this week. Please go visit Beverly and all her pink participants by clicking on the link~ http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/

Have a great weekend everyone and please join me on Tuesday for Tea Time Tuesday!

Sharing from my heart~ Sandi
