Happy Pink Saturday

Hello bloggerettes and welcome to my Pink Saturday post. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

While shopping at the supermarket yesterday, I picked up a pink bouquet in support of breast cancer research.  With every pretty bouquet of pink posies and pink berries purchased, one dollar was donated to  breast cancer research. I was happy to make my contribution.

Last year, the Island's supermarkets were also carrying pink bathroom tissue to raise money for this most worthy cause. This year they have a pink floral bathroom tissue. Isn't it pretty?

Please take care of yourself and get yourself checked regularly!

A warm thank you to our hostess Beverly for bringing all the pinkies together every week. Please click on the link to visit her and her party of pinkies.

One thing I like about Autumn is pumpkins. I'm not sure what my fascination with them is; perhaps Cinderella's fairy tale coach? I loved Cinderella! I especially like the baby pumpkins!

I have been busy painting and frosting them for displays in my home. Last weekend I found a bag of tinsey-tiny ones. They were all orange to begin with but most got a transformation.

Here they are in their former state. You can see how tiny they are when you compare them to the spoon. The spoon is metal which I also painted ages ago. The pumpkins are made of plastic so they're easy to paint and glitter up.

Here they are painted white and sprinkled with some glittery fairy dust. The one on the left is a real pumpkin which also got some fairy dust.

And here are some painted pink and dusted with fairy dust.

A few pumpkins, I left their original orange but sprinkled them with glitter. One little punkin is plain pink.

After all, doesn't everything look better with a little sparkle?

I have one more pinkie to share with you. This one is the cutest pink of all! My granddaughter, Jenna-Lynn, in her pink butterfly costume. She is ten months old now.

This is the back of her costume. The wings are all sparkly like she is herself.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my sparkly pinks. I will be away for the weekend but will try to catch up when I get back. Have a lovely pink weekend everyone!
