Spiritual Sundays

Spiritual Sundays is here again and I would just like to say "Thank you" to our lovely hostesses, Charlotte and Ginger. I find Spiritual Sundays to be a refreshing time of blogging because we can just reflect on God's goodness and love toward us. I think it is very important to take the time to focus on Him when we spend the rest of the week blogging about everything else! Thank you ladies for giving us the opportunity to share our hearts with others.

What I would like to share with you today, you have probably all read before, but I wanted to share it again. I hope you will once again be blessed by it!

THE GREATEST MAN IN HISTORY

Jesus......Had no servants; yet they called Him, Master.
Had no degree; yet they called Him, Teacher.
Had no medicines; yet they called Him, Healer.
He had no army; yet kings feared Him.
He won no military battles; yet He conquered the world!
He committed no crime; yet they crucified Him.
He was buried in a tomb; yet He lives today.

I feel honoured to serve such a Leader who loves us!

My Jesus, I love You, and I'm not ashamed to proclaim it. I pray that You will reach out and bless each one who comes by to visit my blog today. I pray dear Lord, You will be lifted up and glorified by our words and our deeds, and it is in Your lovely Name, which is the Name above all names, that I ask this.... Amen.

Please click on the Spiritual Sundays button on my sidebar to visit other lovely bloggers who wish to lift up the name of our Lord. Have a blessed weekend, Friends!

Pink Saturday

Happy Pink Saturday everyone!

This has been a busy week and I didn't know if I would be able to participate in today's event or not; but here I am!

This sweet teacup and saucer was a shower gift I received when I got married. It is so pretty and very delicate with its scalloped edge, dainty pink blossoms, and robin egg blue trim. The pattern is called Shelley and it comes from England. Have you ever noticed how much better a cup of tea tastes in a pretty teacup?
When I redecorated my bathroom, I bought some new towels. You know the ones you hang for decorative purposes only? As you can see, there is a little pink rose embellishment on each one. The rose is sitting on a lovely square edged with a pretty piping all around it. It is hard to tell from the picture, but there are tiny white satin flowers sprinkled all around the rose inside the square.Lastly, is my darling little pink-cheeked grandson, Zachary, who was having his bath in Nanny's kitchen sink. Anyone standing nearby, also got a bath! He loved splashing his little patties in the water! Babies and water just naturally seem to go together, don't they? He was having such fun!!
Well, those are my pinks for this first Saturday in May. Have a wonderful Pink Saturday everyone. I hope you will go check out the other pink contributions today. Just click on the link http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/ or the Pink Saturday button on my sidebar. Thank you to Beverly who makes this fun event possible each week!
