Thoughts On A Sunday Morning

Hello my lovely friends~ Sometimes I run across a wonderful poem or quote. An email came in earlier today and I just have to share these words with you. The photo below, I found on the Internet. I hope they minister to you as much as they did to me.

When Our Hearts Were In Need

To those in sin, God sent us the Savior;
To those in darkness, God sent us the Light;
To those in bondage, God sent us the Deliverer;
To those in defeat, God sent us the Victor;
To those in want, God sent us the Shepherd;
To those in hunger, God sent us the Bread;
To those in pain, God sent us the Physician;
To those in doubt, God sent us the Truth;
To those in confusion, God sent us the Way;
To those in turmoil, God sent us the Prince of Peace;
To all in need, God sent His only begotten Son.

"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given." Isaiah 9:6

  1. Amen.
    I enjoyed reading this!

    Merry Christmas,
    d on the prairie

  2. You have a way of saying what I am thinking for the need to slow down and enjoy is the best part of the Christmas holidays. Your Rose Chintz pattern should be named Sandi for I think of you when I see it. How lovely to share it with us and your Aunt for the tea party! I specifically did a special tea post for your blog party and had some fun red velvet cupcakes with my sweetheart husband! I usually just do one post for each holiday but I had to join your party and all the fun! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and pretty photos!

    Thanks, Pam

I am delighted to have you visit me and I read every comment. Please forgive me for not being able to visit you all as there are so many of you lovely bloggy friends now. I will visit as much as possible. I wish you a day filled with JOY! ~ Sandi
