Hi everyone~ I hope you are enjoying your week!
Prince Edward Island is one of the most charming places to visit as well as live, especially this time of year.
We not only have our most famous celebrity, Anne of Green Gables, but we have some of the most beautiful beaches north of Florida. What we lack in mountains and palm trees, we make up for with lush green pastures and bright blue skies filled with clean fresh air.
We also have some of the loveliest gardens this side of England, as you are about to see.
Would you like to join my hubby and me for a Garden Tour? I took a lot of pictures so I will be posting this Tour in two or three different segments.
Tucked away, off the main roads, is a charming spot enclosed by trees, and unless one is looking for it, it might never be found.
It is a magical place filled with flora and fairies; a secret place which befits a storybook.
I have called it the "Secret" Garden Tour!
Bring your umbrella or parasol and step back in time with us....
There were lush plants and posies to greet you even before you entered the property.
The pictures will speak for themselves.
A close-up.
As we walked on to the property, to the right, there was this lovely garden sprawled along a fence with a profusion of hostas, hydrangeas, and lilies. Across from that, one looked up into fabulous big old trees which provided lovely shade. I didn't take a picture of them. I am hoping you will use your imagination.
More hydrangeas, kissed with pink....
Among the many splendored things was one of several statues.
Shhh....listen closely! Can you hear the tinkle of fairies' laughter?
They are everywhere!
Our gracious hostess had lemonade and cookies set up in this gorgeous arbour.
Please help yourself....
A sweet spot to sit and drink in the beauty.
There were several little nooks throughout the gardens to sit and breathe in the scents and sounds of this beautiful place.
There is enchantment all around us....
"Like roses in a garden, kindness fills the air
with a certain bit of sweetness,
as it touches everywhere." ~ Helen Steiner Rice
A dear little rose bud.
"Raindrops on roses...."
And one of many adorable birdhouses....
Well, that's our tour for today. I have so much more to share with you so please join me again tomorrow.
Sharing from my heart~ Sandi

Beautiful! Travel to PEI is on my bucket list.
ReplyDeleteThe next best thing to being on a garden tour, is someone sharing it through their photos. The first home is delightful Sandi and I look forward to the rest of the tour.
