Pink Saturday

Hello everyone and welcome to Beverly's  Pink Saturday.
Thank you to Beverly for hosting her wonderful party so faithfully every week.

Oh, what an absolutely beautiful day we are having! The sun is shining and it is warm like a summer day. I just had a delightful visit with my aunt and uncle from New Brunswick who are over touring the Island today. They brought me something pink but I will share that on another day since I already had this post ready.

One of our rose bushes has yielded up one last frilly pink rose and a sweet little rose bud so I cut them and brought them indoors to enjoy.

I am also sharing the pink teacup my hubby got me when we were on vacation this summer. I had shared it for my tea party this past week but thought you pinkies might like to see it too.

The roses, fluffy, frilly, and the most gorgeous fragrance!

The teacup is the softest shade of pink like that of the blush which tints the sky just as the sun is setting.  There is a pretty pink rose inside the cup and on the saucer.

Pretty?

I drink my tea black so I get to enjoy the rose in the bottom of the teacup as I drink my tea too.

Thank you for visiting me today. I wish you a lovely weekend and I hope it's kissed with lots of pink.

Sharing from my heart~ Sandi

We are having one of my favorite kind of days here in Michigan....rainy! I do love rainy days!

I did not get any last roses...just one beautiful blooming was it for this year.
Your frilly rose and bud are so pretty! Do you think they will dry prettily if you just ignore them??? That has been my secret.
I know your tea tastes better in that beautiful cup with the roses in the bottom. What a waonderful hubby you have!
    Hugs to you!

  14. Good day, Sandi,

You've created such a peaceful, sweet vignette. The last of your roses is beautiful, and what a pretty shade of pink.

How could you not enjoy tea in such a royal cup/saucer combo. The design is lovely, and I, too like the rose at the bottom of the cup, echoing the sentiments of its real counterpart.

    Peace and Joy,
    Marianne

  17. My how your roses have lasted this summer. To get ones with fragrance is also an extra thrill. Thank you for your piping hot tea last Friday. It was one to rememeber along with the dainty egg salad sandwiches and hearty muffins. It was our pleasure......Hugs Auntie P and Uncle Dee

  20. HPS Sandi, Call me sentimental, but I consider it such a special gift to have the rose bushes put out a new flush this late in the year, especially when they are pink ones like yours and mine. Aren't we lucky? I love how frilly yours is. :) xo
