I hope you all had a good week and you're ready for a tea party! Can you believe this is my fiftieth tea party? Who would have thought that I would actually reach this milestone! Thank you everyone for making it so much fun!
Before we get into the tea party, I want to thank my son Jordan for helping me figure out the inlinkz thingy. I hope you will find it more convenient. I know it sure makes things easier for me!
Now, please come in and make yourself at home. The tea is brewing and a warm welcome awaits you!
There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea. ~ Henry James
Do you remember this teapot? I had found it last Fall and my sweet hubby gifted me with the matching creamer, sugar, and gravy boat/sauce dish for Christmas.
The sugar bowl is filled with sugar cubes and Judith's - http://lavendercottagegardening.blogspot.com/ wonderful sugar tongs wait to be of use.
I love this tea set because it has a different pattern on each side.Today I am serving Ginger Peach tea in my Rose Bud teacup. This pretty china teacup is made by Maxwell and Williams and looks rather nice with the plain white tea things.
Setting the atmosphere for tea is a beautiful birthday bouquet given to me be my second son. It is an arrangement of yellow roses, pink lilies, red carnations, and an assortment of daisies and other florals; all tied up with a red ribbon.
A lovely piece of Strawberry shortcake adorned with a chocolate heart is ready to be enjoyed with your tea.
And speaking of cake, isn't this a lovely confection from the pages of this month's Victoria magazine!
The sentiments in the Victoria magazine this month are so lovely; I can't help but use some them in my post!
Since 2011 arrived, I have reached some big milestones so I have decided to have another Giveaway. There are several reasons for this; I just celebrated a big birthday, this is my 50th tea party post, I am nearing 400 followers, and I am nearing my 500th post; lots of zeros! I am also nearing the first Anniversary of Tea Time Tuesday! I will share all about it on next week's Tea Time post so be sure to come back next week for all the details.

It is always a delight to visit. It must be nearing supper time because my mouth was truly tasting the peach tea, and then the shortcake. Oh my! Busy with snow today, so not much time between warming my toes. Of course my boots are at school, and we had a "snow day" today. I wasn't about to drive to town to fetch them. ♥♫

Hi Sandi, Congratulations on your 50th Tea Time Tuesday. You blog is so beautiful. Now that I am retired I would love to join you and the lovely ladies for "Tea Time Tuesday". Can you email me and explain just how I go about linking etc. Due to working full time until recently, I never attended a party so I am clueless. Also afraid I am gonna mess something up on your Tuesday page, so is there a way I can test to see if it is working correctly? I already has your button on my blog. Will love being part of such a delightful group. Thank you.
