Welcome to Pink Saturday

Today is Pink Saturday once again and we are delighted that Beverly hosts this fun meme every week! Lots of us love the colour pink, me included.

Today I have a trunk to show you. It is burgundy, trimmed with gold, and has pretty pink roses on it. It has a handle on each end for easy carrying. These days, I use it to store extra linens in and someday, it will probably get painted white!! But right now, I like it the way it is.
Don't forget to enter my Blogiversary Giveaway! You can win this little Christmas ornament by leaving a comment on this post {1 entry}, becoming a Follower {another entry}, or by posting about my Giveway on your own blog {still another entry}. You have three chances to win! I will draw the winner's name on Friday the 23rd and post the winner on next week's Pink Saturday post, the 24th.
NOTE: I am not going to paint the trunk, I was just wondering what everyone's reaction would be! Thanks for visiting today and please take some time to go visit Beverly and the other pinkies by clicking the link http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/ or the Pink Saturday button on my sidebar. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Trunks are both practical and attractive. I love them, along with armoires. Closets I'm not too fond of...

  17. I love the roses are your trunk. It would be a shame to paint them, hopefully if you go that route, they can be saved. They have that old world painted look to them, wonderful hues of color. Happy Pink Saturday, Char

  18. Lovely Pink Saturday post and sweet blog, too. Woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground so even thought this isn't Saturday I really needed a boost! Today you made me smile...

Sorry, I didn't get to see everyone yesterday. I had important business. My 11 year-old grandson was playing football and he wanted Mimi to go to the out-of-town-last-of-the-season-game. THEY WON AGAINST AN UNDEFEATED TEAM! WOO-HOO! 35 - 17☺

Hope the coming week blesses you with sunshine, happiness and good friends.
