Hello friends~
Well REDnesday is here once again and I'm joining Sue at It's A Very Cherry World for her fun event.
Well REDnesday is here once again and I'm joining Sue at It's A Very Cherry World for her fun event.
I have a couple of reds for you.
This little girl with her real knitted red hat was a gift from my son and DIL one year. I love her little pinafore and red-striped socks. She has the cutest expression on her face! They claim she has her arms up in the air because it is my DIL thanking God for her wonderful MIL! Isn't that precious? I have the best family!
The other day I received this painting in the mail. It is a Giveaway which I won from Heidi at Fairy Footprints in the Sand http://myarizonaangels.blogspot.com/
I love red barns so I was happy to win Heidi's painting. Many of you know that Heidi is Amy's cousin, the young lady who lost her battle with cancer over the weekend. Heidi and her whole family would appreciate your prayers during this sad time. Please join Sue and her red participants by clicking the link http://suelovescherries.blogspot.com/ or the REDnesday button on my sidebar. Thanks for stopping by today and have a lovely day everyone.
Sharing from my heart~ Sandi

What a cute figurine. The real tiny knitted hat is amazing to me.
ReplyDeleteI would have bet my bottom dollar that you're a great MIL! Knew it!
Heidi has a talent in painting. I know Amy was an artist, too. The whole family is very sweet, kind, and talented throughout. What a sad time for them, and for all who, like myself, came to love Amy.
How nice to win such a nice painting. Congratulations to you!
ReplyDeleteThe doll is sweet as can be with those arms outstretched.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the red barn painting.
The little girl is darling! And such a sweet sentiment behind her. Heidi does such great work.

ReplyDeleteThank you for the update on Heidi's cousin. I'll go to her blog right now.
Your little figurine is sooo cute. I think she's asking to be picked up!
ReplyDeleteThanks for putting Heidi's link up. I had kept seeing her name but but didn't see the name of her blog or any links. I'm sure it's on Debbie's or Sherry's blog but I couldn't find it.
Hugs,
Dawn

ReplyDeleteHi Sandi,
ReplyDeletelove that cute figurine. It's such a darling little girl.
I've been thinking of joining the REDnesday weekly appointments but when I look around my apartment I see that unfortunately red is not actually there and woudn't have any source of inspiration at hand. Isn't it funny how it can be with colors?
XOXO
Rita

ReplyDeleteGlad you have Dutchie kids in your family, I'm sure they're adorable!
