Pink Saturday


" Happy Pink Saturday"

Happy 4th of July to all my American friends! I hope you all enjoy a safe and happy holiday weekend.
Thank you Beverly for hosting Pink Saturday. It is such a fun event for all of us. Let's all drop by and see her offering of pink today, then drop by as many of the participants as possible. There are a lot of us who love the colour pink, so let's enjoy peeking at what everyone has to share!
My pink offering for today is ~
A pink begonia we planted in our new bed this year.
A pink flowered vase my Uncle Doug brought back from Florida for me.
My bird cage which I decorated with a pink pillar candle inside and silk flowers with a little white dove on top. I don't normally light the candle, I just have it burning for these photos!

I used a pink rose, a peach rose, baby's breath, hydrangea, and sheer pink ribbon to dress it up.
I also added some ivy but I don't know whether I will leave it in or not. What do you think?Now, won't you make your way over to How Sweet the Sound to visit everyone else?     Lovely pinks! Your begonia is too beautiful. The pink is so soft to the eyes. love your birdcage too! Very interesting centerpiece. Friends and family who come over must have hovered around it :-)

    I had no idea that begonias were so pretty! I think your sweet birdcage is perfect the way it is and I love the way it looks with the candle inside.

    Sandi, I would have loved it if you had been able to join the two parties! There's always next year....wow, I'll be 47! Just wait until I'm 50 then we will really rock Blogland!!

    I loved your post. The begonias are so pretty and I personally would leave the ivy in your arrangement because to me green is always present with flowers because of their leaves...you did a beautiful job and with the candle inside it was very pretty
