Thanks so much for the feature! What a surprise! How fun to have a vacation time with the kids. Never thought of using the stove top for cooling...great idea! It is such a busy time of year, but enjoy it! Thanks for hosting!

I'm so pleased to finally get a post up Sandi! Thank you for hosting. If you are making extra, I know that my family would love a couple of dozen of those cookies!
ReplyDeleteThank you for featuring my post about Mum. I think she would be thrilled to know that her purple eggs remain a cherished memory for me and that they inspired my writing a bit.
ReplyDeleteAll the featured posts are lovely. I need to visit the ones I haven't already visited. I'm especially interested in that maple walnut tart.
I love potato salad. Do you have a special ingredient that makes yours the best in the world?
I have a ceramic-top stove too. I like it so much better than my old one with the coil burners. SO much easier to clean!
Again, thanks so much for the feature. Have a lovely day.
Love,
Patti

Thank you for looking at the lovely rose cup and saucer and giving the number. I suspect that you have something quite old and hard to find there. You're going to be busy in your kitchen preparing for your family coming to stay. Sounds as though they all have fond memories of your cooking:)

What great features. Oh those cookies look simply divine! Wish I had one! Well I couldn't help but chuckle because my girls tells me that EVERYTHING I make is the best....(especially if they don't won't to make it) LOL! You are a smart gal for getting things done a little early and freezing. I like to do that too. It sure helps with time. Love your post today. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteYou've been busy!! How wonderful to get painting done, and to be putting food by in anticipation of children coming. Such a happy thing to look forward to. Love your pretty roses and teacup. Blessings, Deborah
ReplyDeleteHi Sandi, Isn't it wonderful to accomplish such things as redoing a room. One can find things that have been misplaced and then rediscovered. You are wise to make extra cookies for freezing. Then they are ready when you need them. I am not so smart. Thanks for the reposts as I missed some of them last week. Try not to work too hard. Kindest regards, Jill
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting. Hope you make great memories with your family!

Sandi, I wish you and Hubby would come here and paint MY office! We painted it a very long time ago and didn't like the color (it only looks the right color for a short period of time each day, then looks all wrong most of the time!), but I've never gotten around to repainting it.
ReplyDeleteYour teacup is gorgeous! Enjoy your vacation!
ReplyDeleteSandi,
ReplyDeleteMe again!! Just stopping by to thaank you for taking the time to visit and to wish you a Great weekend!!
Hugs,
