Sunday Thoughts

Hello friends. Since it is Sunday, I thought I would share this with you today.

I love roses and I look forward to when my own begin to bloom!

This is one of my hubby's favourite scripture verses. "......He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6

When we become born again, God's Spirit comes to reside within us and we become His child.

He begins to change our hearts by planting us in His garden. He tends to us in that garden by pruning us and watering us with His Word. He is always with us because He is the Gardener, and He promises never to leave us.

In the beginning, we are like a tiny rosebud with our petals folded tightly together. But in time, with the care only the Gardener can give us, we open up into a beautiful full blown rose.
Once we are in full bloom, we ought to leave a sweet fragrance wherever we go. It is this sweet fragrance which brings glory to Him.

It is God's desire to make all things beautiful, and that includes you and me!

Just sharing a few words for thought and wishing you a lovely Sunday!

  3. Thank you for sharing your hubby's favorite verse and your sweet words of wisdom, Sandi. Of course your yellow rose is a beauty and comparing it to the how the Gardener nourishes the Rose, is so beautiful. Happy Sunday blessings!

  4. My Sandi, our pastor gave a sermon this morning entitled "New Life...From Bud To Blossom" and here you are with the same analogy. You, however, have a beautiful rose to share with us.
