No Place Like Home # 15

But what on earth is half so dear -
So longed for - as the hearth of home? ~ Emily Bronte

Welcome sweet friends! I hope you all had a fabulous Valentine's Day weekend with your loved ones! Today is the 15th of February and that means the month is half over. Yay! Spring is that much closer.

The other day I posted a Romantic Tea for Sweethearts and did some reminiscing with my hubby. You can find that post here.

We enjoyed a wonderful dessert, Banana Split Cake, which you can find the recipe for here.

Now on to my features from last week. You all shared so many lovely ideas, recipes, and posts. Thank you each and every one of you who participated.

Congratulations ladies, and thank you friends for making my party such a success. Last week we had the most link-ups since I began No Place Like Home.

Now, let's see what you are creating in your home and garden this week to make it a cozy place to come home to for your family, your friends, and yourself.

Lord, this humble house we'd keep
Sweet with play and calm with sleep.
Help us so that we may give
Beauty to the lives we live.
Let Thy love and let Thy grace
Shine upon our dwelling place. - Edgar A. Guest

  13. I just checked there too. Strange and a little scary. Sandi's entire post is there but it loses something in the translation -- for example, instead of "our dwelling place" in the quote from Edgar Guest, it says "our condo"!? Almost seems as if it was translated into another language and then back into English.

  14. Hi Sandi,
That is so wonderful that your son commented on your relationship with your hubby. You really must be a wonderful example for them. I love your red and pink transferware tea time and your dessert looks so fabulous! John 3:16 is my favourite bible verse and it is so nice to hear it for Valentine's Day! Thank you

  15. Not linking today, Sandi, as I don't really have anything link-worthy! But I had to come by and see all the lovelies. Spring seems so far away from my vantage point here in northern Michigan. I'm hoping I can get home tomorrow, but more snow is in the forecast!!
Your Valentine's dessert looks yummy! xo Deborah
