"The power of finding beauty in the humblest things make a home happy and life lovely." ~ Louisa May Alcott

Hello friends and welcome to my HOME ~
I hope you are all having a lovely first week of September.

This week's tea party was a chance to share my Royal Albert Friendship teacup with the lovely shell imprints. You may check it out further in my previous post. I also made some blueberry cobbler to enjoy with blueberry tea.

I found the cobbler a bit too sweet which is why I am not sharing the recipe.

Now for a few features from last week's party:

One of my favourite posts from last week was Ruthie's at Lady B's Time for Tea who shared the most delightful post about Louisa May Alcott's home and life.

If you like "Little Women," then you will enjoy this post!

Liz @ The Porcelain Rose shared her beautiful garment hangers. Aren't they exquisite?

Wanda @ Victorian 1885 found this mirror at her local Salvation Army store which she painted  with AS Duck Egg Blue to match up with her table. Isn't it a pretty vignette?

Poppy @ With a Dash of Color shared her fabulous Mediterranean foyer. You must stop by and have a visit.

And my friend Kathy @ A Delightsome Life shared glimpses of her French Farmhouse kitchen reno.

A Delightsome Life Red Chintz dishes

Thank you for joining me here at my HOME and a heartfelt thank you to each of you who open up your own home to us every week.

If you would like to participate in my HOME party then simply share something which is HOME related. DIYs, china, collections, crafts, floral arrangements, recipes, renos,  tablescapes, etc. Anything and everything which relates to your HOME is welcome.

"Lord, this humble house we'd keep
Sweet with play and calm with sleep.
Help us so that we may give
Beauty to the lives we live.
Let Thy beauty and Thy grace
Shine upon our dwelling place." ~ Edgar A. Guest

  20. Thank you Sandi for such a delightful post. I'll have to start linking back up with Home, I've been away far too long. A busy summer and tourists will keep you from the things you enjoy most. Thank you for sharing
