Pink Saturday and A Giveaway

Hello bloggerettes~ The weekend is upon us once again and that means it's Pink Saturday time.

Beverly's theme today is Autumn flowers and foliage. I can't share very much because they have been working on our street for over a month, filling in the ditches. Therefore everything has been a muddy mess. They finally got the sods down but because of the mess I don't have much in the way of Autumn decor going on outside at my house.

I do however have a wreath on my front door. It was difficult getting a good picture because the sun was playing havoc with my camera.

A few pumpkins are sitting on the steps and a pumpkin is in the birdbath. You can see where they just laid the new sod down.

This is my wreath closer up which had been hanging on a closet door until the red clay settled down before hanging it out on the front door.

I took a grapevine wreath and added a leafy garland and sunflowers as well as bullrushes.

Now for something pink....

One last little pink geranium sunning itself on our side step.

We have been getting rid of some old coffee mugs and buying new ones when we see one we like. Hubby got me this one.

Isn't it pretty? Lovely pink roses, adorned with soft green and gold filigree make sipping from this mug a real pleasure!

It has a pretty handle too.

It is bone china called Classic Rose made by Dunoon in England. Who wouldn't want to sip coffee or tea from this?

I also have a Giveaway for all my Followers. If you would like to enter then just click here and I will tell you all about it.

Thank you Beverly for hosting Pink Saturday and I wish you all a wonderful Pink weekend!

  1. What a lovely mug. So cute and feminine! The wreath looks good on your door. If I out a pumpkin in my front yard, it would be smashed on the street by morning.

I love your mug from England! The colors are just exquisite!
We are having a rather warm and pleasant fall. That is nice as I know it will not last and what is ahead for us all living up North.

  17. I used the word Lovely too many times in my previous post. I wanted to say that I love how you made your wreath and how the pumpkin sits in the birdbath. And what a thoughtful husband you have to give you such a beautiful tea cup to drink from. I have been a follower and posted your button about your 1000 follower giveaway on my blog. Happy Saturday to you!

  19. Hi Sandi!
I just love this time of year. It makes me feel good about decorating. Your wreath looks so pretty on your front door and your coffee mug is a nice shape and size.
It has been hard for me lately to find a mug that is not too big. Happy Pink Saturday.

  20. Good morning Sandi, A whole month of mud and ditches sounds awful. I'm glad it is about done.

Your wreath is so lovely and you did a good job adding fall to a grapevine. I adore the pumpkin in the bird bath as well. Why didn't I think of that? Most of all your new cup is so pretty I would use it everyday. I have a special Christmas mug that is fragile and so pretty and I always use it for the holidays. It just makes me happy every day.

    Happy Fall and PS.
