Hello bloggerettes~ April has finally arrived and is playing a mean trick on us! We have another storm with snow and high winds headed our way but I am thankful that this is probably the end of it. Fingers crossed!
So, on this first day of April, instead of dwelling on the weather, I would like to share a spring vignette with you. I have some little visitors!
These bunnies are having a wonderful time hopping around on my mantel. Sorry about the angle! It was hard to get a shot without getting moi in the picture too.
They are playing hide and go seek around the watering can and they are having so much fun, in fact that they have overturned a potted rose!
I saw one of their friends in our backyard and he was looking exactly like these guys; half brown and half white! I do hope the fox I keep seeing doesn't get him! Maybe he should come inside and play with my bunnies. It would be safer!
Oh look, who's this little fellow?
Little Cheeps has decided he wants to play too. They don't even know he's there yet although Mr. Bunny, standing on his hind legs, thinks he hears something!
Please come back next week and see the rest of the mantel. This is only part of the mantel display.
Well, I hope you all have a wonderful Pink Saturday weekend. Please visit Beverly and her lineup of pinkies this weekend. http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/
I am also joining Saturday Show Off ~ http://maleviksrosentradgard.blogspot.com/
Please come back on Monday to join me for Tea Time Tuesday!
Sharing from my heart~ Sandi
Hello Sandi and Happy Pink Saturday (soon)! Your bunnies certainly are adorable and yes, try and bring the one in from outside b/c I would hate to think of Mr. Fox catching sight of him first! Yes, April has FINALLY arrived but alas, my front garden is STILL covered in snow. I know, the end is NEAR! Have a lovely weekend and I can't wait to see the rest of your mantle reveal! Hugs
ReplyDeleteHi Sandi, Your sweet bunnies are having a lovely time aren't they? At least they'll be warm and dry in the house with the snow storm coming your way. And I warn you, it is a bad one here so I hope it misses you! We have about 6 inches down already and I heard of a lot of accidents this afternoon. Stay cozy on the weekend and Happy Pink Saturday! Pam
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet tiny bunnies!
ReplyDeleteMother Nature has sent us cold rain this afternoon. Thankfully, I did some photographing earlier in the day.

The real little rabbits are cute, but I prefer the ones like you have. You have everything decorated and displa ed so nicely.
ReplyDeleteI hope the fox doesn't get your bunnies either! Sweet mantle!
ReplyDeleteWarmly,
deb
Your bunnies are having such fun. Bet is is nicer inside than out in the still cold air. Since NY state had snow, I assume you are still cold. We have real outside bunnies here. Also like you tall pitcher. There you go, I have seen pitchers like that at Home Goods and just never know how I would use it and then I look at your enchanting mantel and thin, "why didn't I think of something like that". You blog is always inspiring as well as beautiful. Most of all you display the lovely Christian spirit the Lord wants us to show to others. So happy to have met you in blogland Sandi.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandi: We've been having the same weather the last two days. We acutally had wet snow this morning! UGH
ReplyDeleteYour little vignette is adorable. Maybe they can come over and play with my bunnies ;)
Happy PS

ReplyDeleteHi Sandi and Happy Pink Saturday, too!
ReplyDeleteYour little bunny story is too cute! I hope the real bunny escapes the mean ole fox!
And, I hope you don't wind up getting more snow! We have tulips, and all the other spring flowers coming right up through the snow. Today was in the high 40's and so the snow melted quite a bit! YEA!
Looking forward to seeing the rest of your mantle!
Hugs,
Jil

Hello Sandie,, I think your little vignette is adorable. They indeed make of think of warer weather and spring.
ReplyDeleteWe have a dark windy, rainy day here.
Looks like Little Peeps is going to play a bit of a practical joke on his bunny neighbors. How adorable!

A beautiful "Pink" Monday to you Sandi! You have peaked my interest - what, I wonder, will be on the mantle next? May warmer temperatures be on the horizon soon. Good thing Ms. Fairy is inside where it's dry :)
