Show and Tell Friday

Hello everyone~ Today I'm joining Cindy's Show and Tell Friday and Courtney's Feathered Nest Friday and I have been itching all week to share this!

I have had something on my Wish List for many years. Last weekend, I got it! Yes, dreams really do come true!

So without further adieu, here is my object of desire in the living room at long last.
A white full sized fireplace! She needs to be dressed properly, the mirror needs to be lowered, and the holes in the wall where the old mantel used to be need to be repaired but here she is in all her glory!Just in time for Christmas! I can't wait to dress her up!

I also got a new cloche. Not sure if the kissing angels will stay in there but for now, I like them! Thanks for stopping by today and please check out My Romantic Home ~ http://romantichome.blogspot.com/ for all of Cindy's 'Show and Tell' participants and French Country Cottage ~ http://frenchcountrycottage.blogspot.com/ for Courtney's 'Feathered Nest Friday' particiants.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Sharing from my heart~ Sandi

  4. I have been looking into electric for quite some time now. I just don't know if the cost to run can be tamped down by my exuberance to have such an item. Maybe one day we too will have our fireplace! Right now I would settle for a lighter that worked so I could light my pumpkin spice candle. Hugs. Tammy

  5. Lovely! I am sure you will enjoy it during those chilly winter evenings. We bought an electric insert for our wood-burning fireplace and really like it. We can still use the fireplace for wood if we want to by just taking the insert out. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with it for Christmas. What fun it will be to decorate!
