Sunday Scripture

Hello everyone~
It's been a busy week. After spending the day at the beach yesterday and doing some running around, it's nice to take a break on this quiet rainy afternoon. I have made myself a cup of Earl Grey tea and I'm going to sit and reflect upon all the blessings in my life.

My very quiet household is about to become a beehive of activity as my middle son and his family are arriving this week. My little grandson Zachary, who is almost twenty-three months old, will I'm sure, keep the entertainment flowing while they are here!

"Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." ~ Philippians 4:8

I am so very thankful for my family. A family that is close, loving, and growing!
Wishing you all a lovely day filled with God's blessings.

  2. Phil 4:8 has always been a scripture of challenge - balanced against discernment and wisdom - now there is the challenge. To recognize truth in all that is around us (not the good stuff) and yet focus on the good!

  3. Hi Sandi..lovely tea that you have prepared. I love Philippians 4:8. In fact, that was the first memory verse I posted on my blog. I wrote the verse out on on index card with my fountain pen. Everything is nicer when written with a fountain pen :) :) Then I photographed it!! Thanks for sharing the Scripture and the photos. You and some of the other lovely ladies in blogland have really inspired me to make my home a lovely place to be...have something nice to drink..decorate the house so it makes people feel welcome, etc!!!
Enjoy the time with your family...and especially your little grandson!! So cute at that age!!! Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

What a great sequence; day at the beach - rainy afternoon with a cozy tea and next the beehive's buzzing with energy from FAMILY!
    A true blessing...

I'm so happy for you though, you have lots of fun and enjoy your family and that grandbaby!!! I think that my youngest daughter and five grandchildren will be coming for a visit in a couple of weeks.
