Pink Saturday

She sees seashells down by the seashore......... and then she brings them home and adds sparkles!Hello bloggerettes ~ Welcome to my Pink Saturday!
Thank you Beverly for bringing us your fun meme every week. Every Pink Saturday we get to strut our pink stuff and we pinkies do love the colour pink!

Today, I'm sharing a seashell centerpiece I have sitting on my coffee table. I LOVE glitter so these shells got gussied up. I just love when the sunlight hits them because they sparkle! The star fish I painted aqua and added some glitter. Some of the shells are pink and others are white but most of them have glitter on them. All of these I gathered from our beaches here on the Island along with the sand. The star fish came from Michaels.

Let's add some pearls.......I know there are other ladies out there addicted to glitter as well. M at Tales From An OC Cottage http://talesfromanoccottage.blogspot.com/ loves to glitter up everything from seashells to little birdies. Some of us have brought this addiction to glitter from our childhoods and I'm one of them!

Can you see the sparkles? Wish I had a better camera but anyway, you get the idea!

The fish vase my middle son made for me in High School and I am so happy to have it! I know some of you pinkies out there have this same fish vase including Sissie at Sissie's Shabby Cottage. In fact, why not pay her a visit too and check it out! http://sissiesshabbycottage.blogspot.com/

Yesterday my sweet hubby came home with a surprise for me. I had seen this bunny a couple of weeks ago and bought it for someone else. I made such a fuss over his cuteness that my hubby made a mental note to go back and get me one. Isn't he a darling for doing that?

Do you see what the inscription on the bunny says? "Happiness is....Life filled with Love."

Bunny has just a blush of pink on his sweet cheeks and his cute nose.

Well, pinkies, those are my offerings for this week. Please go see Beverly http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/
and her lineup of pink participants, you will be glad you did! I have a wedding to go to this afternoon but I will make my rounds later. Have a wonderful pink weekend everyone and God bless you!

Please join me on Tuesday for Tea Time Tuesday.

Sharing from my heart~ Sandi

  1. Happy Pink Sandi...
What a beautiful share today. I have to tell you I just adore all the glittery sea shells and star fish. I think I may just have to add some to my assortment. I mean we all like a little glitter in our lifetimes right?

Your DH was so precious to go back and get you this bunny. She is so pretty. I love her little verse. Just the element of surprise when you look at her. She looks perfect perched up on the stack of books.

Thank you for sharing. I hope your day is as beautiful as the share you had today.

    Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

  14. Oh my goodness! That bunny is just too adorable for words! And I really love the way you have put together those glittery shells and sand.

I have a question for you ... my dear husband and I are thinking of visiting PEI for the first time this year but we can't go away until September. Is it too cold there in September? If so, we'll wait for another year when we can go away in the summer.
