Thank You and A Prayer Request

Good morning everyone~ Hubby and I spent a lovely evening together celebrating our Anniversary. We had dinner at a wonderful restaurant where I had Casablanca Scallops and Hubby had a big steak. The entrees were delicious! Hubby's nephew, who manages the place, brought us dessert on the house! It was a lovely evening and we enjoyed it so much.

I want to thank each of you for your lovely comments and your good wishes. I so appreciate you all!

Yesterday, I also received the news that my cousin Cynthia's husband Jim, passed away. He had been suffering with brain cancer for about a year. He lived to be 58 years old, as yesterday was also his birthday. Cynthia and Jim never had their own family and so she mourns his loss alone.
Please pray for her that the Lord would comfort her at this time and give her direction in the days to come. The funeral is tomorrow, Saturday.

My Auntie P, Cynthia's mother, will be there with her for a few days but she has not been feeling well lately nor has my Uncle Doug. Please pray for them all. The Lord knows what needs they each have.

Thank you and God bless you, my friends!

Sharing from my heart~ Sandi

  1. Hi Sandi
I have been praying for Cynthia and Jim daily, and will continue to pray for Cynthia now and the extended family. Such a very sad time for everyone ~even if we do know the Lord!

  2. I am so sorry to hear that Jim passed away. 58 is so very young. The same age as my Dad when he died in 2005.

    Hugs to the family.

  9. Oh, how sad. I had seen his picture on your blog and thought what a kind-looking man he was -- so sorry to hear he passed away. And how doubly sad for his wife, I hope she can bear the grief...58 is far too young to go...
