Dear friends~ When I returned home from my trip visiting my son, my mother called to let me know that my brother Dennis had suffered a heart attack last week. He just had triple bi-pass surgery this week and he is in much discomfort. I would like to ask you all to remember him in your prayers. Dennis lives in Indiana with his wife and so I won't be able to see him. Distance makes it difficult when a loved one is not well. So, please pray for him. Thank you all and God bless you!

Sandi,
ReplyDeleteIm very sorry to hear about your brother, hopefully he will be ok. My gran is also in hospital this week, she is 89 and fell and broke her hip. She is over her operation now. I will think of your brother in my prayers.

Sandi,
ReplyDeleteI will certainly remember your brother Dennis in prayer. I pray for his recovery.
My brother is suffering from cancer at this time and chemo had to be stopped due to other problems. He is far away from me too, so I know what you mean.
Take care,
Sissie
Sandi ~ Yes, of course, I'd be glad to pray for your brother, Dennis. Our birth families are so important to us, aren't they? After all, they have the same history as us...
ReplyDeleteAlso, Happy Belated Birthday! I adore the 2 transferware plates you received and also your rooster one. Just my style.

Is anyone able to advocate for your brother and help him gain better pain control? Speaking from someone who has a lot of experience in seeing loved ones after open-field surgery: They really need an advocate or pain relief will be inadequate. I hope your brother feels better soon. That surgery is just hell.
ReplyDeleteI have prayed for him this minute.
ReplyDelete~Good advice right above this post.
My dear Aunt never had the kind of pain relief that she needed as she did not have an adovocate with her..and I was in Texas..and she was in Illinois.
