Blue Monday


Today I'm participating in Sally's Blue Monday http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/

A friend and I went down East one day and stopped in at a shop where they carried all kinds of wares, including pottery and fabulous rocks! I love rocks so I will show you some of the blue ones today.


There was lots of blue pottery.
The rocks and gemstones were beautiful! There was quartz and marble and others that I couldn't identify. When I saw the blue, I couldn't help but think of Blue Monday.
Saturday we spent most of the day with our grandson Brent. It was his 6th birthday. Here he is all dressed in blue.
His parents had gotten him an Indiana Jones leggo set and there was a spider included in the kit. Here he is showing off the spider and wearing his blue Birthday Boy button.

    Brent is so handsome, Sandi! Just a doll. I can understand why you're proud of that cutie.

    I love not only the rocks you showed us today, but the neat pottery pieces, too. And how about that blue sink bowl with the fish! Neat.

    I was in the middle of posting to you this morning when our network crashed. I was so upset, but I went shopping to finish buying for someone who won a drawing on my blog a while back, and I found just what I needed. So all was not lost. It's just that I'm sorry I'm late.     What a handsome guy your grandson is! All the blues are wonderful, but I am partial to the gemstones. They fascinate me, how they look one way uncut and polished and so different afterward.

    Hello Sandi, I do love your blue today. The blue pottery is beautiful and the rocks very beautiful too. Where we live we have a museum that has amazing rocks and gems. I always admire them.
