Pink Saturday

Happy Pink Saturday everyone.
for hosting this wonderful and fun blogging event.

As pink is one of my favourite colours, I thought it would be fun to participate in the Pink Saturday activities.

These are my contributions for today's event-

First up is this doll which I've had for several years. Her name is Mandi and she is a little girl that my hubby gave me for my birthday one year. Mandi is dressed in her very best pink party dress with a matching bow in her hair. Her hair is full of curls and her eyes are bright. She is on her way to a party and carries her present in her hand.

This pink glass cat votive candle holder looks like it is made of cranberry glass. I'm not sure what it is. All I know is I love the colour!
Finally, I have this thimble to show you. I started a thimble collection many years ago and I have thimbles from all over the world. This lovely one came from Germany. It is perfect in pink and it is made by Kaiser. I hope you can see the beautiful detail on it. I'm sorry I don't have a good zoom in camera so this is the best I could take of it.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please go check out other wonderful pink sites by clicking on the website above. Have a wonderful Pink Saturday everyone!

Hi everyone,
I'm so glad that you've all dropped by. This was my very first Pink Saturday and it's been wonderful fun. I have a few thimbles in my collection, but I had special ordered them. I dream of traveling to Germany some day. Perhaps I'll do a post about my thimbles one of these days. Thank you for all your lovely comments and your hearty welcome!
It's nice to 'meet' you.

Blessings,
Sandi

Sorry I'm so late in posting my comments...work has taken me on a few travels as of late...but now that I am able, I certainly wanted to "visit".

Our cottage, The Painted Nest is not abundant in PINK (gasp, I know, LOL) nonetheless the fun continues, as I participated in this past Sat. Pink Posting... :)

Happy to be here to see your thimbles...i adore the art...and hope you can/will share more!
