Pink Saturday ~ Welcome

Hello bloggerettes and welcome to my Pink Saturday post.

Well, believe it or not, this week I don't have anything new to share with you so I decided to dig into my archives and share these with you.

This ceramic bonnet was a project I did back in the early nineties, using a dry-brushing technique. It hangs in the master bedroom.

It has a pink satin ribbon and rose adorning it.

This adorable angel holding her teddy bear is also in the bedroom.She was a birthday gift from my youngest son a few years ago. As you can see, she has iridescent pink on her wings. There is also some pink on her frock and her blankie. She has pink posies in her hair too.

Outdoor Wednesday

Hello everyone~ I thought I would join Susan at a Southern Daydreamer for her Outdoor Wednesday party. http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/

With all the exposure our little Island is getting this week with Regis and Kelly hosting their show here I thought I would share a few photos I took myself the past couple of days.

Monday evening my hubby and I took our coffee down to Victoria Park and watched the sailboats. It was a beautiful evening and I couldn't help but take some photos. I took these from our car.

On one side of the street, we see this.

On the other side of the street, this is what we see. Just on the other side of the rocks is the boardwalk where people walk all year round.

Then yesterday, we headed for the beach, our favourite place to go this time of year!
