Happy Pink Saturday ~ Happy Spring!

Good morning everyone~ Happy Pink Saturday & Happy Spring!

What fun to be participating in Pink Saturday again. It's also Spring, and we've waited through a long, cold Winter here in Canada for it to arrive!

Today I would like to share with you, three Pink items~

This little heart-shaped pink ceramic pin, my sister-in-law gave to me the day we had a baby shower for Zachary when my son and his family were home. Wasn't that kind of her? It's very Easter-like and Spring-like, don't you think?

Then there is this adorable love birds ornament that my sweet hubby gave me as a gift one year. It is special not only because he surprised me with it, but also because I used it as a cake topper on a wedding cake at my son's wedding reception. One of the birds got the end of its tail broken off. I'm not sure when that happened, but it is still sweet.

Finally, this is one of the first pieces I ever tole painted. It is a pink rocking-horse door stopper.

Spring Has Made an Appearance and So Have a Couple of Awards!

Good afternoon and Happy First Day of Spring everyone! It is sooo nice to have the Winter over with and now we can look forward to warmer weather and all the new growth of flowers, trees, lawns, and so on. At this point, even the sight of dandelions on the lawn would be welcome! Spring definitely is my favourite season of the year. I feel rejuvenated and there is an air of expectancy everywhere you go.
As I was perusing some wonderful blogs today, I was pleased to discover that there were two bloggy friends who were blessing their friends with awards. The first one is from Judith of http://judithsquietmoments.blogspot.com/ She and I have been friends for several months now and I really appreciate her and her faith in God. We have both spent time in the Ministry; actually she is still actively involved; more than I am at the moment. Thank you dear friend for bestowing this gift upon me.
