A Wee Bit O' Green for Tea Time

May the friendships you make,
Be those which endure,

And all of your grey clouds
Be small ones for sure.
And trusting in Him
To Whom we all pray,
May a song fill your heart,
Every step of the way.~ Irish Blessing

Welcome to another Tea Time, dear friends~

I thought today would be a good day to share some green with St. Patrick's Day just around the corner.

Please come in and make yourself at home. I was unable to set up a tea table this week so I borrowed some photos from last year's party which I had set up in our front window. It was such a beautiful day with the sun streaming through the lace curtains, much like today.

"While there's tea, there's hope." ~ Sir Arthur W. Pinero
I love this pretty teacup I won in a giveaway a few years ago. It is  hand painted and a little work of art with its lovely shade of green  sprinkled with sweet pink rose buds!

My Skye McGhie Chantilly Lace teacup is present as well at our tea today and beneath it all is a bit of green and cream toile. Breena, my little fairy, is joining the party too.

Would you like a shamrock cupcake with your tea? It won't be long and one will see dragon flies and honey bees flying about just like those on this plate.

Happiness is sharing tea with a friend.

Next week, March 18, I am hoping to host a Spring Tea.

My "Savour the Moment" Springtime Tea will be a celebration of the new season as well as Easter. Bring out your cupcakes, fairy cakes, bunnies, chicks, etc. and let's welcome this glorious season of new life together over a cup of tea.

My little fairy Breena and I thank you for coming to tea. I hope you all have a wonderful week and a Happy St. Parick's Day!

If you would like to join my party, simply share a favourite teacup, teapot, or a coffee mug and write a post about it.

May joy and peace surround you,
Contentment latch your door,

And happiness be with you now,
And bless you evermore. ~ An Irish Blessing

  16. Sandi, I hope & pray you are doing better and haling quickly.

That is one of the prettiest teacups, and I am tempted to covet it. What a lovely tea time. I am so glad I have participated in these teatimes on my blog because during my "down" times, I read them and remember anew all the blessings and good times I do have. This gives me hope and joy for the future too. Blessings to you, and thank you for hosting this tea time.

  22. Hi Sandi,
Wonderful display of St. Patrick's Day Tea, as my memory stretches over the years I'm not recalling last years tea so this is all new and beautiful to me. Your table cloth and tea cups go well with your fairy and look inspiring as I look around at all the snow I found when I got home. I hope you are better than the last time we spoke. Blessings

  28. Hi Sandi,
That tea table is lovely. The celadon green might be my most favorite spring green. It's always so fresh looking, isn't it? I also love the rim of the Chantilly lace tea cup. One year I bought two tea cups which were seconds because they were sitting a little crooked, but that was their charm. Happy St Patrick's day to you. Hope you have a lovely shamrock-y one. :)
