Banana Split Cake for Dessert

Hello dear friends! Yesterday I shared my Valentine's post with you and today I will post my Banana Split Cake recipe.

This recipe makes a lot and is very rich so you will only want to partake of a little piece at a time. I must warn you, it's heavy on the calories, but very worth it!

Banana Split Cake

You will need a 13X9 inch pan.

Melt 3/4 cup of butter
Mix in 3 cups graham wafer crumbs
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool

Beat together:
1 cup softened butter
2-3 cups icing sugar
1 or 2 eggs beaten
Spread on top of cooled graham crumb base

Cover the icing base with:
3 bananas, sliced and sprinkled with lemon juice

Cover bananas with a 14 or 19 oz can of well -drained crushed pineapple.

Cover fruit with one container of Cool Whip or real whipped cream if eaten right away.

Decorate with a can of cherry pie filling or fresh, sliced strawberries. For Valentine's Day, a heart made from strawberries would be pretty.

Keep in refrigerator. Enjoy!

Your family and friends are going to love this! It's a big hit whenever I make it.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
