Tea Time Tuesday

Happy Tea Tuesday my friends~ Today is my 42nd Tea Time Tuesday and I am so happy to invite you all to another tea party! Sometimes I think I'll just do a few more but then some of you leave comments that so encourage me that I just keep going. The fact is, I have run out of teacups although I do still have a tea pot or two to share. Anyway, I will keep having tea parties as long as you keep coming.
Before I get into my tea party, has anyone else noticed that Blogger has gone haywire this evening? I hope they get it fixed up soon!

Today I would like to share the fabulous Giveaway I won from my Colorado friend Bernideen ~ http://bernideensteatimeblog.blogspot.com/
Bernideen has been a tea party participant almost from the beginning and I am pleased to have won her most generous gift. She has a most tea-lightful blog as well and she would be most pleased to have you stop by for a visit.

This dear lady sure knows how to put together a wonderful Giveway!

So, sit yourself down in your most comfy chair and feast your eyes on all of these goodies.

The good sized box arrived, neatly packed with styrofoam pebbles and bubble wrap. Great care was taken to ensure each gift was protected from damage.
The first item was this delightful book on the life of Tasha Tudor presented on its own easel.
I have already shared about this book on Pink Saturday over the weekend.

There was a covered pie dish shaped like a pumpkin ...with a lovely blessing written inside. A little tea book filled with quotes and tea tips, just right for the hostess of tea parties.
A beau-tea-fully scalloped Harvest inspired doilie with sparkly golden thread woven throughout the butterfly motif. A beau-tea-ful deep burgundy tea box adorned with a lovely cameo and lined with gold satin, was filled with an assortment of lovely teas. Isn't this a sight to behold? Thirty-six teas in all. What more could a tea party hostess want? Except perhaps to get cozy in a comfy chair with the book and a wonderful cup of tea!
If you're ever in old historic Colorado Springs, please do stop by and visit Bernideen at her tea shop. Thank you again, Bernideen, for your wonderful giveaway! I am truly enjoying it.
Now, let's enjoy a cup of Mango tea today, shall we? It is a wonderful fruity tea and it is delicious! This is one of the teas from Bernideen's tea box.I am using my pretty Royal Albert teacup. As I shared once before, this lovely teacup was a gift from my hubby's aunt when we moved into our first home. The month of February was the month we moved in and so she thoughtfully gifted me with this teacup in honour of the occasion. As you can see, it is sprinkled with delightful violets which is the flower of the month for February. The cup and saucer are edged with gold and made of fine bone china. Some fresh pumpkin bread is ready to enjoy with your tea. It is being served on a Johnson Bros. tea plate which has a fruit motif on it. The colours also go well with the doilie. The tea has been steeping in my little cream and green tea pot.
I am also serving mini cheese cakes topped with your choice of cherries or whipped cream. These are wonderful little treats and they made a big hit at our last Bible study. Even my hubby enjoyed them and he's not a big cheese cake fan! Don't they look pretty in the pumpkin dish? I borrowed the recipe from Concetta @ Concetta's Cafe ~ http://concettascafe.blogspot.com/
Thank you Concetta! Concetta also has a lovely blog and I know she would love to have you stop by for a visit.
Have you noticed how pretty everything looks with the doilie? Thank you Bernideen!

The scripture below is taken from the New Living Testament.
"How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear You. You lavish it on those who come to You for protection, blessing them before the watching world. " ~ Psalm 31:19

Thank you for coming by for tea today. If you would like to participate, please let me know in your comment. Simply share a teacup, tea pot, or some china used in a tea. You may also do coffee, chocolate, or iced tea. A poem, tea quote, or scripture verse would also be welcomed. The Tea Time Tuesday button near the top of my sidebar is available for you to use in your post if you wish. Please link back to me so your visitors may find their way here and visit my other lovely participants. It would be nice if you would visit the link before and after you to ensure that everyone gets a visit. Thank you.

The participants listed below are in the order they began participating.
