May your life always be like a pot of tea...overflowing to warm the soul. ~ An Irish Blessing
Welcome to Tea Time Tuesday, dear friends!
I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. It has been a long weekend for us here in Canada and with thankful hearts for what our veterans and heroes fought for, we have been embracing it.
Every year at this time I watch Pearl Harbor and I am reminded once again the sacrifices our soldiers, pilots, sailors, doctors, nurses, etc. made for us to live in freedom. Freedom is a wonderful thing and we are blessed to live in North America!
Today I also have a thankful heart for you, my bloggy friends. Blogging has become for me a most enjoyable pasttime.
Before I serve our tea, I would like to share with you last week's tea post which received the most views....Wendy at Once Upon A Rose Haven, shared a lovely drive through the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee with us and then invited us inside her lovely home to enjoy tea in front of the fireplace. And isn't it a fabulous fireplace! Thank you for having us, Wendy!
Garland For Friendship
Friendship is a country
Of the young and young-in-heart,
Made of morning's greetings,
A warm and happy part
Of phone calls and cups of tea,
Of days of hope and caring,
Friendship is a sturdy refuge,
Forgiveness and sweet sharing
Memories and happy times,
Picnics, fun together,
Count among life's garlands
Friends who make heart's weather.

Isn't this a pretty teacup? Lovely pale blue and white china adorned with bright pink roses. It is a Colclough made in England.
About a week ago I received in the mail this beautiful teacup from one of my tea friends. Nancy @ Two Cottages and Tea had noticed at one of my tea parties that we both had the same Colclough teacup and she wanted to send me hers so I would have a matching pair. Isn't that just sweet of her! Not only did she send me her lovely teacup but she also included a tin of tea and a rock from her home state along with a darling card. Thank you so much Nancy!
The tea is Cranberry Autumn and it smells heavenly! Black tea infused with cranberry and orange with dried cranberry pieces....
Would you like a cup?
It really is delicious!

Now for those of you who are not aware, I collect rocks from around the world. I have been fascinated with rocks ever since I was a little girl. A few of you lovely ladies have already blessed me by sending me a rock from your home state. Beth @ Beyond the Garden Gate sent me a beautiful agate and Cindy @ Art, Books, Tea sent me a wonderful rock from her state. Thank you ladies for your thoughtfulness. It means so much to me as I am trying to collect a rock from each of the States. I now have rocks from Maine, Florida, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio, and California.
Our tea today will be served in these pretty Colclough teacups.
I have set our tea in front of the fireplace. That sweet little creamer peeking out from behind the cups I found at a thrift store and it is Bavaria.
I have made some Mini Trifles for our tea today. I thought something other than pumpkin or apples would be nice for a change. Would you like to treat yourself to one?
They are simple to make and I will be sharing the recipe at my HOME party this week. ....
Well, it's getting dark and it's time to light the fire. I suppose that is one advantage of the shorter days we have now. One can dim the lights or light some candles and sit in front of the fire.

Thank you for coming to tea today. Your presence always makes my tea party that much more special.
I am happy to see all your tea things, whether you have shared them before or not. This tea party is all about sharing your joy of tea time and any thoughts you might have on the subject. You may be as creative, fancy, or as laid back with your tea time as you wish!
You may share coffee instead of tea or any other hot drink suitable for tea time if you wish.
Do you have a favourite teacup/teapot or mug that you would like to share with us today? I would love to see it and I'm sure others would too!
The Tea Time Tuesday button on my sidebar is available for you to use in your post or place on your sidebar if you wish. A poem, tea quote, or scripture verse would be more than welcome! To be sure everyone has a visit, it would be nice if you visited the participant before and after your name.
As a courtesy, please link back to me so that your visitors may find their way here to visit with all my lovely participants.
