Today is a special day because it is my daughter-in-law, Carina's birthday. She is married to my son Joel and they live out in Vancouver. I will not get to see her today because I live on the opposite side of the country but she is close in my heart. Carina is a nurse and one of the sweetest people I know. If I could have hand-picked anyone for my son, it would have been Carina.
Here she is with a big smile and dressed in blue. She is a little Dutch girl who not only won the heart of my son but the hearts of my whole family. She is beautiful inside and out.
This is her with her son, my youngest grandchild, Zachary.
Carina with Joel, Zachary, and their doggie Skye last Christmas.
Happy Birthday Carina ~ I love you!
Today I would also like to show you this blue planter that was outside the Tea Room where Hubby and I and friends had breakfast one morning.
A blue-roofed restaurant called Rob Roy's which we had eaten at. Victoria Row is a street in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island which they turn into a stretch of outdoor cafes in the summertime. Blue umbrellas cover several tables. There is usually a live jazz band from the local High School playing so one can sit and have coffee or a meal and enjoy live music at the same time. The tourists and locals love it!Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you will go pay a visit to our smiling hostess Sally and the other blue participants by clicking on the link http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/ or the Blue Monday button on my sidebar. Enjoy your day everybody.
Sharing from my heart~ Sandi
