The "Secret" Garden Tour Part 3

Welcome back to Rose Chintz Cottage ~ Today is the final segment of our tour so please pour yourself a cup of tea or coffee and  join me, won't you?

This is a small area in the Chelsea Garden.

By now many of you may have already guessed whose garden we have been walking through.

There is a darling little cottage on the property and I took a picture of my hubby standing in front of it. It was raining at the time so he kept dry under an umbrella on loan from our hostess.

Another view of the cottage after the rain.

Beside the cottage is a wonderful little nook where one can lie back and read a book and just spend some quiet time. This was one of my favourite spots.

Behind the cottage is a garden swing with pretty fireweed in the background.

Are you ready to go inside the cottage? The sign above the door bids you Welcome....

Just inside and to your left is a cozy sitting area.

One of the first things we noticed was this darling doll house. Behind it is a big window which looks out into the little reading nook I showed you.

A china cabinet is built into the corner. Love the china!

The sun was streaming through the windows by this time and bathed the whole interior with a lovely etheral light.

I love this photo!

Vignettes of china, comfy chairs, and a beautiful bed make this little cottage so inviting! So charming in fact that I could move right in!

A tea tray is set on the bed to enjoy at your leisure.

There are so many more pictures I could share with you but I must bring our tour to a close.

Hubby enjoyed the Tour!

Have you guessed whose beautiful home and gardens this belongs to?

It is the home and gardens of our blogger friend Carolyn of Aiken House and Gardens. Thank you Carolyn for sharing your lovely home and gardens with us all. We are blessed by the beauty you share with us day after day.

If you are ever able to visit our beautiful Island, I hope you will have a chance to visit this pretty spot tucked away from the rest of the world. Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Sharing from my heart~ Sandi

I enjoyed touring the garden along with you and your hubby and
I think you captured it all so well.
Now,if we could just get a couple of days of steady rain, the garden might revive a little.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  15. Hi sandi. I almost missed these three posts . My computer has been acting up and just checked in now and saw them. It is all so beautiful. Carolyn has gorgeous ground, flowers, bird houses, arbors and the little cabin is wonderful. We are debating between england or down east this fall and would love to visit. I was on a garden tour today and it was pretty great but nothing compared to yours. I so enjoyed that. Thank you to you both
