It's Pink Saturday time again and I have something new to share.
Downtown Charlottetown has a little thrift shop which opened a few months ago and Lori, the lady of the shop, has some very nice things. If you're looking for vintage furniture, china, linens, lamps, etc, hers is the place to go!
I have found some lovely things since meeting Lori and at my last visit, I found these:
A new pink depression glass teacup. The pattern is called Trellis and even has some fleur de lis on it. Love it!
My Daddy used to collect vintage items, including milk bottles. He had quite a collection but when he passed away, they all went missing! I never got one. So when I found these bottles at Lori's shop, I snatched them up.
The little cream bottle still has the stopper on it.
And what is better than one pink teacup?
Why two of course!
Tea anyone?
I found a few other things too but I will share them next week at my tea party. Would you like to join me?
I am so glad you have stopped by and I hope your Labor Day weekend is a happy and safe one! Thanks to Beverly for hosting our pink party.
UPDATE~ Since posting this, we received word that my hubby's nephew passed away this afternoon. So I know you will forgive me if I am not able to visit everyone this weekend. God bless you!

What a pretty cup and saucer, I haven't seen any like this before.
ReplyDeleteI love this pink cup and saucer Sandi, it's so pretty, you were lucky to find that little shop with beautiful stuff. I just posted a table with pink sherbets and water glasses, they would look great with teacups like yours. Enjoy your weekend.

Hi Sandi, I absolutely adore your depression glass teacups! They are so pretty. When I was a little girl, my grandma bought her milk in bottles. It was whole milk, but not homogenized. She let it sit and the cream rose to the top. She skimmed off the cream to use in coffee or tea.
ReplyDeleteLove the pink depression teacups!!! Love the bottles and how sweet the stopper is still on the bottle!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday

Hi Sandi, I love your pink teacups. I have a set of 4 turquoise ones and not used them yet. I'm afraid to put a hot tea into them. Did you worry about that with yours? I see it was ok. Did you put a spoon in it first? I'm glad you found some milk bottles. They are great for single flowers or small bouquets. I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend. Blessings, Pamela

I love the two new teacups, they are so you! The farm where I buy our eggs is now selling unhomogenized milk in glass bottles. I haven't bought any yet but do want to try it.

Hello Sandi! You may not remember me from a few years back, when my blog, Cup of Tea With Friends (www.roseprincess.blogspot.com). I still have the blog, it was hard to keep up with so much posting after my son was born and I'm slowly getting back into it. but recently I'd introduced Pink Saturday to my mom, so now we participate through her blog. I was hoping to see you today.
