A White Christmas

Hello. What a day this has been!

My hubby had already left for work and I was still snoozing when I awoke to hear this odd beeping. I got up to investigate and to my surprise all the power was off downstairs except for the hall light, the furnace, and the deep freeze. The pellet stove had also stopped.

So I get on the phone and track Hubby down who then comes home and looks around, then calls the electrician.

Hubby went back to work and our friend Ed, the electrician, arrives an hour later. Apparently after that heavy rain we had gotten yesterday, water had somehow gotten into the electrical leading to the fuse box in the basement and a breaker had gotten wet; therefore, no power throughout the downstairs. Thankfully, Ed got everything up and running again within an hour. Don't you just love days like this? The pellets are burning again and all is well!

Today I will show you some of my pretty white things.

First up, my little church, which I will show off more tomorrow.

The little Christmas tree, decked out with tiny snowflakes, white balls, and white lights. My sister had made the teensey angels out of lace and gave them to me for Christmas one year.

This is my birdcage which I decked out with a mini Christmas tree inside, white balls, tiny angels, and ribbon.

I will show you more of my little church tomorrow. I've got some shopping to do now. Have a nice day everyone.

  1. How pretty. Hubby just walked by and I showed him your darling birdhouse. He makes birdhouses and is always interested in seeing other ones. He agreed that yours is very nice. Your little angel tree is so sweet. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

  2. Beautiful room!

Don't you just love that gingerbread house? My sister in law and I saw it and we bought it for each other for Thanksgiving, LOL. Our husbands didn't really buy it!

    Merry Christmas!
