Sunday - "Words of Wisdom"

" Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will win favour and a good name
in the sight of God and man."
Proverbs 3: 3-4

I just got home from a lovely drive with my hubby. We had picked up a burger and fries and went down to the park to eat them. It was a beautiful day out there. The leaves are changing and there is a crispness in the air.

The park was busy today as there was a cruise ship in the harbour and many had gathered to look at it.

Today was also the Run for Breast Cancer and we watched hundreds of people run or walk by; each one running for someone special in their lives.

I lost my best friend to breast cancer a number of years ago and I couldn't help but think of her. And even though I know she is in a better place, I still miss her.

~ Miss you Carol~

So, cherish your friends and loved ones; let's not take them for granted. One never knows what a day or a month will bring.

Take care everyone and let's be a blessing to one another....and have a happy day. ~Sandi

  2. Hi Sandy,
I was excited to see that you had signed Mr. Linky on Spiritual Sundays but when I clicked on it it didn't send me here so I deleted you name and entered it again. It didn't have the extention .blogspot.com/ was the reason it didn't link properly. I hope people will come back and click on your name again because this is a very good post. I'm glad you shared it with us and will share with us often in the future.
    Blessings,
    Charlotte

Oh my goodness. My Blogger was still signed in under my hubby's name. The above comment is from me, not Clif. Sorry about that.

  5. I ENJOYED READING YOUR POSTS, SANDI!

SO. CAL. IS NOT COOPERATING WITH FALL JUST YET. WE HAD TEMPS AT 94 DEGREES TODAY! YIKE!

We don't have traditional falls, but usually is is much cooler at this point during the day. It is cool at night though.

I had to have Charlotte give me your link. It is now fixed.

    Thanks for sharing,
    KJ

  6. Hi Sandi,
I see that you are a Pastor's wife. So I will be coming back for words of advise as that is my husbands passion as well. He preaches this Sunday for a friends church. So keep him in your prayers.
    Hugs
    Becky
