Pink Saturday

Good morning pink bloggerettes~ Pink Saturday is here once again and I want to thank our wonderful hostess Beverly for bringing us this pink party every week. Please click on her link http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/
or the Pink Saturday button on my sidebar to go visit her and the other pink participants.

Ever since I got home from my trip to Vancouver, I have been going into Winners at least once a week. And every time I have gone in there, there were these pretty little tea plates in their own plate holder. They had different colours; some had polka dots and some were plain. They had the loveliest shade of aqua, I LOVED the aqua, and pink. The pink caught my eye because it is a perfect match to my Rose Chintz pattern.

So, after several weeks, I finally broke down and got the pink set. I think they must have been waiting there just for me!
They came all tied up with a matching pink grosgrain ribbon! There are six of them and at $12.99, who could pass up a deal like that? The little black carrier will probably get a coat of white paint before long.
They are the perfect dessert plates and see how well they match my Rose Chintz?I think they are so pretty together!
You see these pink roses? These are the same roses I shared with you last week! They are just starting to brown a bit at the edges. I would say they were well worth the $5 I spent on them at the grocery store, wouldn't you? I am going to dry them and tie them up with a pretty ribbon and use them as an accent on a table or shelf. They are almost there!

Well, pinkies, those are my pink offerings for today. Cannot wait to turn the clocks ahead! Spring is coming!! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful pink weekend. God bless!

Sharing from my heart~ Sandi

  10. My aunt and godmother always said, "If, it's pink, it's pretty!" She and I always agreed on that because pink is our FAVORITE color. The plates certainly do look lovely with your other dishes. And the fact that they came with the plate holder makes them even better. Thanks for sharing. ♥♪

  15. Hi Sandi,

Love those dishes. They have them here at our HomeGoods. I keep picking them up and putting them back. Since it's just DH and me here and our space is not very large, I can only purchase a few new things now and then. Every inch of the house is decorated with no room to spare.

    Have a great weekend.
