Peaches and Cream Danish

Happy weekend, friends! This is a recipe I found on my friend Martha's blog but I've changed it up just a wee bit.

Instead of two rolls of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, I used one. I couldn't find peach pie filling at the grocery store so I used peach jam instead. For a bigger batch use two Pillsbury Grands Crescent Rolls and double the ingredients.

Peaches and Cream Danish

1 Pillsbury Grands Crescent Rolls
Peach jam
4 oz Philly cream cheese
1/2 tsp vanilla
2-3 TBSP sugar
icing sugar
milk

Chill the roll in the freezer for about thirty minutes. Preheat oven at 350 degrees.

Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Beat together cream cheese, vanilla and sugar until smooth. Crack open the tube of crescent rolls and slice the crescent roll in its original form, like slice and bake cookies. I got ten out of the roll. {Martha got twelve} Put them on cookie sheets and use the bottom of a small glass to make an indentation in each one. I also used my fingers to make sure there was a good sized dent in each one. Fill one half of the dent with cream cheese and the other side with a spoonful of peach jam. Bake about fourteen minutes and then cool completely.

Beat together a little icing sugar with a bit of milk to make enough to drizzle on the danish. Enjoy!

Bake up a little love today!
