Hello friends ~ I hope you're all having a lovely day.
At this week's tea party, I served peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and a few of you had asked for the recipe. So here it is.
Do you like a cookie that sits on your saucer while sipping your coffee or tea? Well, this cookie is just the right size. It is a harder cookie rather than a soft cookie which is how I like them. This recipe comes from Chipits Chocolate Chips which I found in a magazine years ago.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 cup crunchy or smooth peanut butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1-1/2 cups flour
1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in egg, vanilla and peanut butter. Combine salt, baking soda, and flour. Gradually add to butter mixture. Add chocolate chips and mix well. Roll dough by hand into 1" balls.
Place on greased cookie sheet and press flat with a fork.
Bake 10-12 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen cookies. Enjoy!
These cookies freeze well too. Thank you for your visit and have a beautiful day everyone!
