Call me old-fashioned but I believe that... enjoying the simple things in life, being thankful and content with what you have will give you a sense of well being, peace and joy. ~ unknown
Hello dear ones! It's almost the end of February and I decided to take out my Pansies teapot and have a cuppa. I am also using my Royal Albert February Violets teacups before I put them away for another year.

Both teacups were gifted to me. One was from my hubby's late aunt and the other had belonged to his mother although she had never used it. Hubby's mother was of that generation that kept things on the shelf instead of using them.
I believe in using them. How about you?
Did you know, fine china can crack or craze if it is not used? So make sure you use it often. China is so lovely and to have a piece or two of it makes one feel special.
Using lovely china actually makes tea time so much more enjoyable.Thank you for visiting and enjoy the rest of your week.

Your pansie teapot and cup set is so pretty! 💖
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely tea time to warm this purple-lover's heart! I have the same RA February teacup and used it a few times this month. I also endeavor to use my teapots and teacups--they really do elevate the tea time experience!

ReplyDeleteI've been using my RA February teacup so much this month, Sandi. Your teatime with your tulips, and your pretty teacups and teapot is so pretty. I'd love to sit and have a muffin and share a visit with you, my friend. Thank you for the birthday wishes!
ReplyDeleteLove this beautiful pansy pattern...oh so pretty! You know, I used to be of thought to keep these things up a shelf as well but I have have changed my way of thinking. When we get our farmhouse built and moved in, I plan to as many of my treasures that I can! Enjoy the rest of your wee, Sandi!
ReplyDeleteI love your Pansy teapot and the February tea cups. I had that same teacup set, but I bought it for a friend whose birthday is this month. I gave it to her last year, and this year I find I don't have anything to give her except a card. But maybe she will enjoy a cup of tea in her tea cup. I love that you use your lovely tea things regularly. I believe they are meant for that purpose. I get stuck on using the same ones over and over that I like best, but once in a while I break out something different and enjoy it. You have inspired me to do that more often. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful teapot, and lovely teacups, too. Using pretty things is a joy and how great to learn that it's good for them, too. Have a lovely day, Sandi.
ReplyDeleteI love your tea cups and always looking for them when I go to thrift stores. I hadn't seen the February one before, love it. I want a November and December one
