"The good, the true, the tender, these form the wealth of home." ~ Sarah J. Hale
Hello my lovely friends and welcome to my cottage! I hope you are all well and looking forward to the summertime!
As most of you know, I have been on a little blog break. I was beginning to feel a bit overwhelmed with all the blogging and going to physio therapy twice a week. With my sons coming home for a visit; one from Vancouver and the other from Illinois, I thought it was a good time to take a break.
While my boys were home, I had another bad fall, which caused more damage to my already injured back. I'm using my walker again but I will see the surgeon this week which is a good thing. The bright side is that I seem to be bouncing back quicker this time around and it was nice to have my guys fussing over me instead of the other way around. Sons can be so very sweet!
The lilacs are in bloom on the Island now and I love to bring some indoors to enjoy. They are such a sensory delight!
Even my little turtle enjoys them!
"Life is the flower for which love is the honey." ~ Victor Hugo
I enjoy having flowers in my kitchen right beside the kitchen sink. These white roses were losing their petals and I love how they puddle around the sprinkling can.
Now I'm wondering what is growing in your garden. Some of my tea friends may have a tea post to share and I invite all of you to link up with my HOME party this week. Hopefully Tea Time Tuesday will be back next week. I am easing myself back into Blogland so please be patient with me.
Do you have something HOME related that you would like to share with us? Please link up below and I will be happy to come and visit you.

Sandi:
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely lilacs and table vignettes! I hope and pray you are on the mend and will continue to improve everyday! This is a beautiful post. Over 360 homes have burned north of where we live. It is very sad - 4 fires going in Colorado but safe at my house and business.
Sandi, you are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to read that you had another fall!
How frustrating for you!
Thank the Lord for a good husband and loving sons :-)
I hope your beautiful lilacs are helping to cheer you up.
