Hello friends and welcome to Spiritual Sundays~ http://bloggerspirit.blogspot.com/
with Charlotte and Ginger. I have missed a couple of weeks because Hubby and I have been on vacation but I'm back this week with some Good News!
Aren't you glad God never takes a vacation?
When the Lord Jesus walked this earth, He went about doing good and He brought Good News to all. He is in fact, the Good News!
The Word of God says, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes and forever. ~ Hebrews 13:8
He never changes and neither does His Word!
As many of you know, I have been experiencing some health problems and many of you have been praying for me. I want you to know that I have felt your prayers and God has given me grace to walk in.
He has heard your prayers and answered them according to His will....
"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life." ~ Luke 12:22
I will back up a bit in case some of you are not aware...I had a report come back a couple of months ago which was not favourable. Since then I have been poked, prodded, and sliced. However, the good news is, no malignancy was found! I will be under the watchful eye of the doctor for several months but as of right now, all looks well. I believe it will remain that way. Praise the Lord!
From the bottom of my heart; THANK YOU, YOU ARE THE BEST!
God bless each one of you and grant you the desires of your heart!
IF JESUS IS CONCERNED ABOUT FLOWERS AND BIRDS, HE CERTAINLY CARES ABOUT YOU AND ME.
Sharing from my heart~ Sandi

Hi Sandy,
ReplyDeleteAm so glad you got good news from the Dr., what a relief that must be.
thanks for coming by........and no my hubby is not a hairdresser!!
but my daughter is a hairdresser wanna be!!
Truly I would have never thought in a million years I would let be getting my hair cut from hubby.
Actually, that hair trust started about 9 yrs. or so ago when I had a pinched nerve and could not use my right arm. Hubby and my daughter would style my hair for me cause I could not!!
Then some years later as we were putting my daughter thru college, I decided to have my daughter do one of those root kits they came out with, on me to see if I could stretch out my hairdresser appts. She did and did a great job, so then, I thought hmmm, maybe I should have her just do my normal
haircolor and see how it goes, it went terrific, so asked her if she would want to do it all the time and I would pay her the $$ that I would normally pay the hairdresser,
as she could use it!!
So that's what we have been doing for years, but only she know longer charges me now since she is working in her career field, a sweet bonus!!
Then, being the practical person that I am, I have always trimmed the top of my hair in between visits to the hairdresser anyway,
so thought since I can do that myself, and I have a straight no layer hair do,
what if hubs could just cut the bottom of it, then I wouldn't need to go to the hairdresser at all,
so we tried it, figured I could always just go have it straightened up if need be, cause I only had him cut about an inch the first time.
He did a great job, so this has been going on for years now and has
saved us lots of $$$ I have to say.
I call hubby, Eduardo my hairdresser!! (His real name is Jim) and Deenie Marie my other hairdresser, better know as DeeAnna. That is a standing joke at our house!
Every once in awhile I think about
getting a different hair cut course, don't really know what, cause haven't really seen anything that has struck me......so lately I have just had hubby cut it a bit shorter and that has given me a bit
of a different look and think it looks much perkier!! lol
So that is the story of hubby scissorhands!! lol
Again, so happy to hear your great news hon.........May the Lord continue to bless you abundantly as you trust Him!
Nellie
Hi Sandi,
ReplyDeleteI'm so thankful to hear the good news. I wasn't aware you had health issues. God is good and yes I love that scripture you shared today.
I took have been walking in health issues and believe that there are better days ahead and I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me.
Praise the Lord for He is good and faithful and His mercies are new every morning!
Hugs,
LaDonna
