It was a wonderful yet hectic time and unfortunately I was laid up with my back for most of it, going to physio therapy about every second day during that time period.
My post today is taken from a beautiful photo of a lighthouse taken in our fair city just a few days ago. I cannot take credit for it but I wanted to share it with you. It reminds me of the song, "The Lighthouse," penned by Ronnie Hinson.
"And I thank God for the Lighthouse,
I owe my life to Him,
For Jesus is the Lighthouse
and from the rocks of sin
He has shone around me
that I can clearly see,
If it wasn't for the Lighthouse
where would this ship be?"
"In Him was life; and the life was the light of men." ~ John 1:4
Indeed, where would any of us be without Jesus?

Hi Sandi...oh, so glad that you had a great time visiting with your family...and having a new little granddaughter will be so much fun...:) :) :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like I'll have more time for blogging this week. I finished retraining this week...Next week, I'm only scheduled for 16 hours...not nearly enough...BUT God will supply all of my needs, including money to pay bills. So I'm not worried.
Thanks for sharing the song and the photo of the lighthouse. I really enjoyed both!!! I'm so glad you're back!!! Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
Beautiful picture and poem!

ReplyDeleteI was very sad to read about your back. So you are going to be grandma again. How wonderful. I'm happy for you!
ReplyDeleteI love this lighthouse song. The first time I heard it was when our men's quartet sang it at our church many years ago. I'm glad you got to be with your family but sorry for your back pain. It's hard to be so far away from your kids. I'm so thankful to have both of ours just about 5 minutes away.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Charlotte
