Happy Pink Saturday everyone! Today is the day that our hostess Beverly throws a pink party and all of we pinkies get together from all over the world to show off our pinks. A wide array of pinks make their way across our screens, from flowers to jewelery, and from houses to teacups. It's rather interesting what we all come up with!
Today, I'm sharing another one of my many tea-for-one sets.
This one is rather chintzy and of course, it is pink!
Love the pretty pink background with pink roses sprinkled all over it! A few butterflies have made their way on to the set and I would rather they hadn't! I don't think the butterflies add anything to it rather I feel they take away from the prettiness of it. But anyway since it was a gift, I appreciate it, butterflies and all! Here, nestled up to my pink dried roses, it has found its way on to a chest in the living room where I can enjoy it until I feel like having a cup of tea.
Please join me on Tuesday for Tea Time Tuesday and have a happy day everyone!
Sharing from my heart~ Sandi

I was just telling my sister Stacey about these types of teapots. She has just started drinking more tea lately and I thought this sort of thing would be perfect. I will make sure she sees this!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!
Best wishes,
Natasha.
PS All being well I will see you Tuesday! I have been busy this last week with substitute teaching. Winter is nearly here and people are starting to get sick already! I hope I don't get sick too!

How pretty your tea-for-one pot is. I love it. I have a very plain white tea-for-one set. Matter of fact, it's with the garage sale items for tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteHi, Sandi! Dropping by to visit for Pink Saturday, and I have to say that I love your onesie teapot! How pretty! I love the pattern, and I think these individual services are a great idea. I usually have tea alone as my husband doesn't really drink it (he's a coffee drinker), so I need to look for one of these, too.
ReplyDeleteJust love it!
Happy Pink Saturday...
XO,
Sheila :-)

Hi Sandi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tea in the pretty chintz cup.
Enjoy your day in S'Side- Miss daisy's tearoom on the corner of Summer and Winter st. is a perfect place for lunch or tea and dessert.
Carolyn
Sandi, the teapot is just lovely. If you know me you know that is just my taste. Thanks so much for sharing, and thanks for stopping by to see me.

This is so beautiful. Love the butterflies on it too. I do enjoy a cup that size. I have one of those sets, but unfortunately the tea cup has a crazing almost a crack on the inside--weird because it is bone china from England and this happened after I used it only a couple of times!

Hi Sandi,
ReplyDeleteI was out and about flea marketing yesterday and found a gorgeous Chintz creamer for $4. I immediately thought of you and bought it! I put it right in my Chintz filled china cabinet.

Your tea set is beautiful.. I've only seen 1 tea for one set..it was at a thrift shop. I left it sitting, while I shopped around to decide if I wanted it. A bit later,I went back to get it..and you guessed it..it was gone. I've almost sobbed over that for months now, wishing I had it. *sighs.. Happy belated Pink Saturday...
ReplyDeleteHi Sandi...
ReplyDeleteOooh...what a beautiful tea-for-one set! I love it!!! It sure does make for a pretty tea tray...it's all so lovely! I especially like your photo with the dried pink roses...just sooo sweet and very romantic! Thank you for sharing your beautiful tea tray with us!!!
My friend, I just wanted to stop by today to let you know that I am really looking forward to participating in your Tuesday Tea party tomorrow! I already have my post up and running! I wasn't sure exactly of how you want us to let you know that we're participating in the party since you add our links into your party post! Hope this will suffice!
I hope that my note finds you and your sweet family doing well today! See you tomorrow for tea, dear lady!
Warmest wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design
PS...just wanted to let you know that I also read your post for Spiritual Sunday...soooo very good! I do believe what the scripture says about how we can bring blessings...or cursings...with our mouths. The choice is ours! I do pray and ask the Lord to help me be pleasing to Him...with all the words that come forth from my mouth! Great post, my friend! Thank you!!!
This is so, so pretty! The butterflies are so adorable on this set!
