Blue Monday

'Morning everyone. Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Blue Monday is here again and I have the following to share with you....

These are my cousin Paul's Forget-Me-Nots. Aren't they a beautiful shade of blue?

This is my blue "Welcome" plaque that hangs just inside our back door. A gold finch, a woodpecker, and a blue bird have been busy pecking "Welcome" into the plaque. It's taken some doing on their part, seeing as it is made of resin!!
Last weekend was Mother's Day, and we celebrated the day with our son Jeff and his family out at his in-law's place. Hubby is taking the picture so he's not in it, unfortunately. My daughter-in-law's parents are in front, that's me in the back on the left, my DIL Joanna, then Jeff. As you can see, Jeff and I are both dressed in blue. And as you can also observe, I'm the shrimp of the bunch! That's it for today. Please visit our hostess Sally and all the other lovers of blue by clicking the link http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/ or the Blue Monday button on my sidebar. Have a great day everyone!

  2. No problem being the shrimp! With a 5'11" mother-in-law, 6'5" brother-in-law, and a 6'4" husband, I too am the "shrimp" at barely 5'4".

BTW...the pediatrician based my kiddos' adult heights on their 2-year check-ups...Mary: 5'9" and Benjamin: 6'. AAAAAH, at least my kiddos wont be vertically challenged!

    Happy Blue Monday,
    Valerie
