I would love to have some. I enjoy tea time without sweets most of the time. Just a cup of tea poured from a lovely teapot is enough beauty and sweets for me. On the 3rd day of March I was literally sipping from a bowl of vegetable broth at the hospital as they had me on clear liquids following my surgery on March 2nd. I was not enjoying it, and was hoping that I wouldn't have to stay on clear liquids for long as that is all I had had for several days. Thankfully the next day they agreed to let me have some soft food and then I enjoyed a cup of hot tea with my breakfast of scrambled eggs, grits, and a delightful blueberry muffin! That was special to me!!!I could almost imagine it was served on a pretty china plate and with a pretty china tea cup instead of the hospital black plastic thermal ware to keep it "hot". LOL. You asked, so now you know! Have a lovely day. Spring is in the heart and the eye of the beholder.Pamela M. I always enjoy your tea sets and seeing your china.
It's so nice that you have some of your Mom's.
I find we are seeing less and less posts on the internet with nice china, like yours.
I am cutting down on baking also. I did a lot to past the time this Winter.
Take care. Thelma xo
Come Summer, I don't bake as much. Isn’t it confiding time use your dear mother’s silver? I just had a cup of coconut vanilla tea. I’m trying to use my teas, like Margie does, before buying more. It is always a pleasure to stop by and visit. This morning I am sipping some English Breakfast tea. My china is the china you are showing at the top of your header (Old Country Roses). The tea set collection you are sharing in your post today is very pretty. I am happy for you to have some mementos from your mother...those are sometimes the most special of all.The Tea Lady's Journalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00813637655711555894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5302244628380312811.post-14924633894044890432020-03-03T11:15:17.286-04:002020-03-03T11:15:17.286-04:00Beautiful teapot!Beautiful teapot!Jocelynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02714577523744715551noreply@blogger.com
