Spiritual Sundays

Hello friends~ Thank you for stopping by for my Spiritual Sundays post. Once again I thank Ginger and Charlotte for hosting. Please click on the link to go visit them and all the other participants. http://bloggerspirit.blogspot.com/

My post today will be short and sweet because I have been under the weather all week.
I will likely be slow in getting around to my visits, depending on how I'm feeling, so please be patient with me!

This is one of my hubby's favourite scripture verses. "......He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6

When we become born again, God's Spirit comes to reside within us and we become His child.

He begins to change our hearts by planting us in His garden. He tends to us in that garden by pruning us and watering us with His Word. He is always with us because He is the Gardener, and He promises never to leave us.

In the beginning, we are like a tiny rosebud with our petals folded tightly together. But in time, with the care only the Gardener can give us, we open up into a beautiful full blown rose.
Once we are in full bloom, we ought to leave a sweet fragrance wherever we go. It is this sweet fragrance which brings glory to Him.

It is God's desire to make all things beautiful, and that includes you and me!
Note: Please join me on Tuesday for Tea Time Tuesday.

Pink Saturday

Hello bloggy friends and welcome to my Pink Saturday post! Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun meme every week. We really appreciate the time and effort you put into this!
I didn't know if I would get my post up or not this weekend because my hubby and I have both been under the weather all week; and he never gets sick! A lot of dizzy spells and nausea. This bug seems to be on the go everywhere. But thankfully, I was able to sit here long enough to share my pinks with you. So here we go.....

Today I am sharing this china mug and matching coaster which I received as a gift not long ago. The pattern is called, "Botanic Pink," and it is covered in pink flowers, butterflies, and dots. Even the box it came in matches the set!
It matches the set of little pink plates I have too!The mug has a nice shape and it even has a little butterfly on the inside; very cute!

A couple of weeks ago, I stopped by to visit Anna at Frosted Petunias http://frostedpetunias.blogspot.com/
and she was having a Giveaway. Well, guess what? I won!!

Her Giveaway arrived today all wrapped up in this pretty pink tissue paper and pink satin ribbon, adorned with a petunia and pin. There are four gift tags and each tag was wrapped in pink tissue paper. Each is adorned with a sparkly frock and beautiful pink roses; very French! Tiny pearls are also on two of them like the one below. Two tags are trimmed in pink and two are trimmed in green....I love the combination!
And each tag is tied with a lovely pink sheer ribbon.
Each one is a work of art, and simply scrumptious!!They are all pretty on the back too, like this one with the pink jewelled posie.Aren't they pretty? Thank you Anna, I really love them! I hope you will go pay her a visit.

Thanks for stopping by and please take some time to visit Beverly and her party of pinkies.

Hope you all have a beautiful pink weekend!
