We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open. ~ Jawaharlal Nehru
Welcome friends to my first Tea Time in the month of June! The months are really flying by, aren't they? It's a good time to slow down and savour this moment, for this moment is fleeting. And what better way to slow down than with a cup of our favourite tea!
Summer will soon be here and I am going to be hosting another "Savour the Summer" Tea Party. On June 23 until June 28 you are invited to share your Summer themed teas. It may be an outdoor tea or an indoor tea. Many blooms will be in season by then so we should have a lovely variety to choose from. I hope you will be able to join me for that.
My little fairy bids you, "Come in!"
She's the guardian over my blueberry cheesecake today.
I haven't featured any blue for a while so I have set the tea table with my pretty Botanic Blue.
It is written on the arched sky; it looks out from every star. It is the poetry of Nature; it is that which uplifts the spirit within us. ~ John Ruskin
These pieces are adorned with butterflies and a variety of flowers.
I am having Stash Double Bergamot Earl Grey tea today.
All the blues remind me of the bright blue sky above us and the beautiful blue water that surrounds us here on PEI.
This blue is especially appreciated in the summertime when we're spending time at the beach. One of my favourite places to be!
{For those of you who were wondering about my new wall colour in the living room, you can see it behind the teapot.}
Tea is a meal for all seasons; it's also suitable for all occasions. ~ Angela Hynes
Both the creamer and the teacup have a little butterfly just inside the rim.
I love the scent of spring and summer in the air! You know what I'm talking about. It is warm and heavily laden with a scent I can't quite describe, only that it is unforgettable. Just like a good cup of tea.
Our home is filled with warmth and love,
Prayers and gifts from heaven above.
Please bless these things that we love best,
O dear Lord, please bless our nest. ~ Veronica Curtis
Thank you for visiting today and if you have some tea things to share, I would love to see them! Teacups, teapots/coffee pots, coffee mugs, tablescapes, a new tea you have discovered, or a trip to a Tea Shop; all are welcome here at Tea Time!
You are welcome to do coffee instead of tea or any of the following~ iced tea or iced coffee, lemonade, hot chocolate, hot apple cider, or punch in a lovely bowl.
I am joining these lovely parties as well -

It is so lovely to be able to sit outdoors again. Our weather has turned gorgeous as well, and I am thankful!
Your blue and white tea today is lovely as ever! I see the tiny little bit of wall coloring. I bet you are very happy to have that done. We are facing house painting ourselves this summer.
I hope to join you at some point for Savoring Summer.
