If you want to see lots of pink, then you should make your way over to see Beverly. She hosts a fabulous pink party every weekend. Thank you Beverly!
I have been busy decorating as I'm sure many of you have been too. I had this little brown cardboard house {cottage} which I got at Michaels ages ago and I've been meaning to paint it up for Christmas.
It finally got a coat of white paint and then the roof got a coat of pink. Why I did that, I don't know because I ended up putting SNOW on it anyway which covered up most of the pink roof. There is a pink door however. I sprinkled glitter on the roof, the window sills, and the door. Then I glued on a mini topiary.
I sprinkled 'snow' in the bottom of the cloche and set my little cottage in the center of it.
This is the front of the little cottage. You can still see some pink on the roof peeking out.
One side...
The other side....
I put my big Christmas tree up in the family room this year so my little Christmas tree stands on a table in a corner of our front room. I decorated it with pink and gold sheer ribbon, silver and pink balls and glittery birdies.
Mr. Bunny sits under the branches in the snow. He is waiting for a friend to come along.
Ah, there she is! A demure little bunny I got from sweet Celestina Marie.
Certain times of the day and the tree looks pink.
The sweetest little Christmas fairy adorns the top.
Sharing from my heart~ Sandi

The cottage looks like a few wee faeries would live there...and I wouldn't mind have a larger model of it for myself. It's been a while since I've had time for a visit and have missed all your loveliness. Hope you've been well and will be enjoying your Christmas preparations.♥♫

HI Sandi,
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your pinks ;) :) I'm not sure if we'll be buying a live Christmas tree this year or not. My aunt has this really cool fibreoptic Christmas tree. It glows in different colors :) :)
I think your little snow house is really cute :) :) Oh, speaking of which, my aunt brought out this Christmas wreath that my great-grandmother made decades ago. I'll have to post a photo of it on my blog sometime :) in any case, it's a wreath of flowers covered in gold glitter with pink holly berries and green leaves, in green glitter. Oh, guess what the flowers were made out of? Cardboard egg cartons. In any case, once December 1st rolls around, I'll start bringing out the Christmas ornaments :) Have a good weekend. Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
Happy Pink Saturday sugar sweet friend! Love your darling house and pinky tree! So darling. Big hugs,
ReplyDeleteOlivia
Like and loved seeing so many pretty decorations you have. I like the little house best.
ReplyDeleteLovely tree! I got some little ceramic white houses like yours at the Goodwill a few days ago I want to try to fancy up. They have quite a bit more detail though so I'm not sure how they will take the glitter. For 99 cents I figure I can afford to play around. Happy Pink Saturday and have a terrific weekend!
ReplyDeleteHappy pink day. Very sweet tree. Loving visiting and seeing what you're up to.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful shades of pink! Your little house in the cloche is gorgeous... I just love all the possibilities that they offer for decorating. Just lovely!!!

Hi an \d happy pink Saturday. I love that little christmas house and the little pink is adorable. I see you changed your banner. I have that cup and soucer of Royal Albert Moss Rose. Don´t have the teapot which is gorgeous. Last week we visited a niece of us and to my surprise she had a new dinnerservice Rose chintz. I immediately thought about you. I have wanted that service for ages but I thought it wasn´t for sale any more. It is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.

Hi Sandi, Pink roof and all your little house is adorable in the cloche. I love your pretty tree and the bunnies top it off. Do you visit the Stone Rabbit? I think you do. Smile. You have bunnies in common.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday,
Hugs, Jeanne
Sandi these are the most precious pinks! I love the way you painted the little house and how it's sitting under the cloche. Your tree is also so pretty. I have a picture of the little flocked tree with the pink ornaments my mother made for me as my header right now. I'm very sentimental about pink and white trees!
ReplyDeleteRobin
Very sweet little cottage and really pretty white tree. Have a nice Pink Saturday.
ReplyDeleteLove how your cottage turned out. Can't you imagine sitting by the fire sipping hot cocoa in a little place like that? Happy Pink Saturday!
